Nutritional Medicine

Nutritional Medicine is a practice of identifying and treating deficiencies and imbalances in the body’s chemistry. Vitamins, minerals, enzymes, antioxidants, hormones, and many other substances are required for the body to function optimally. Even a slight imbalance in some of these nutrients can result in illness, or even death.

Nutritional Medicine Practitioners use blood and saliva testing, as well as thoroughly interviewing and examining a person, to determine what the body is missing, and replace those missing nutrients as safely and effectively as possible. This sometimes involves intravenous nutrition, oral supplementation, diet changes, detoxification, and hormone replacement.

We believe the body has an amazing ability to heal itself. And since nutrition runs the body, it makes sense to supply the nutrients required to let the healing process take place. Medications can be lifesaving in the short term, but are rarely if ever the “cure” for a disease. So even if one has to take medication for a serious illness, we should investigate and treat the cause of the illness itself, so that the medication can be withdrawn when the imbalances have been corrected.

We proudly present Allyson Schartman D.C. and Berney Lincoln HHP as our nutritional counselors.

Did You Know? Many cases of high blood pressure are actually due to magnesium deficiency or heavy metal toxicity, and can often be completely corrected?

Did You Know? Studies have shown that certain types of asthma can be cured with vitamin B12.  There are also studies that point out that carpal tunnel syndrome is often a vitamin B6 deficiency?  Both of these conditions can be greatly improved with nutritional IV's.

Did You Know?It has been shown that osteoporosis can be caused by a deficiency of strontium, Vitamin D, or Vitamin K?  Also, many of these deficiencies are a result of poor digestive system performance caused by improper diet and our bowel regularity.
