Did You Know? Berney spent 5-1/2 years in the U.S. Marine Corps and spent 2 of those years in Japan, Korea, and the Philippines. While there he was able to witness firsthand the difference in cultures and the impact this difference makes in the societies at large in relation to health. Berney is a Holistic Health Practitioner, a Spiritual Counselor and also the General Manager of Alternative Health Care Center of San Diego. As such he is responsible for the day to day overall operations of the center as well as it’s focus and direction. He has held this position since the inception of the center and has played a large part in bringing the various talents together.
He started his career in the holistic health field in 1996 after the completely dis-empowering experience of loosing his father to a number of diseases. After watching the inability of the medical and pharmaceutical world to help his father he decided that he would seek answers himself. He realized that the answers to diseases were not in the medical or pharmaceutical world. With all the billions of dollars spent each year the medical and pharmaceutical worlds have yet to truly cure a disease. Not only has this not happened but the incidence of diseases continues to grow each year. Realizing this he decided to enter the world of holistic health. What he found impressed him.
Berney graduated from the School of Healing Arts in San Diego, CA as a Holistic Health Practitioner. He also received his certification as a Hypnotherapist and as a Colon Therapist. He continued his studies in the field of Hypnotherapy and attended the Alchemy School of Healing Arts as well as the Institute of Medical Hypnosis. While attending these schools Berney learned very powerful healing methods that have allowed him to help many people that have come through the center. He has come to understand that the real answer to disease is not actually all that difficult. It is a very simple process to move into and in most cases can be just as easy to move out of. It is all a matter of mind. Most recently Berney successfully completed his training as a Brain Trainer using Brain State Technologies highly advanced brain harmonization technology.
As a Spiritual Counselor, Berney has spent many years studying and meditating. He has studied many paths including Christianity, Zen, Buddhism, Tantra, and others. He enjoys helping people understand their chosen paths on a deeper level. It does not matter what path a person chooses to walk. What matters is that they actually walk it with all that is in them. His study of Tantra has opened his understanding of the fact that there is no right or wrong path; there is just the path that you choose to walk. Eliminating all that blocks you from entering your chosen path is essential if you are to walk your path in earnest. Failure to do so is what many times causes you to suffer in life. Not knowing and living your true nature is a handicap that can and does afflict most people. The rise in the use of psychotropic drugs is proof of that. People do not need drugs; they need understanding and liberation from their inner struggles. These can be easily eliminated when a person understands what they are actually struggling against. The drugs hide the real issue while it continues to get worse and ultimately the drug ends up making the person sick. Thousands of deaths a year are directly attributed to the use of these psychotropic drugs. If these drugs could actually help then we should see less of them and not more. There is no such thing as a chemical imbalance in the brain. It is not possible and there is not a single study that has proven it.
The main desire for Berney has always been and still is to work with other like minded healers. To work in an environment that promotes well being, education, and that is affordable to the mainstream population. He also chooses to work with only those things that do work and not a bunch of untested theories and practices. Over the years Berney has attracted and interviewed many people that have a desire to help. He has chosen the best of these in creating the center. The Alternative Health Care Center, which started as a simple colon therapy business, has now become a true and powerful holistic center. It is staffed by highly motivated and health oriented individuals that are very well versed in the latest developments in health. A person can come to the center for almost any issue what ever and find someone there that can assist them.
